Muthurayanabetta is about thirty-five kilometres from Bangalore near Ravgudlu. Off the Kanakpura road, the green and irregular countryside is an idyllic destination for a quick weekend getaway. Muthurayanabetta Is a light trek and that stands like a tower on the edge of a panoramic landscape & is also a wonderful destination for camping. Dusk and dawn are sights to cherish. In the night, the sparkling illumination of rural Bangalore resembles a milky way. Crisp adventures like rock climbing, rappelling, camping, night navigation and cave exploration are activities offered by Muthurayanabetta.
Chennai is not entirely a concrete jungle. In its immediate fringes are scrub jungles with fairly thick foliage of tall trees that nurture life in all forms - Nanmangalam Reserve Forest. Nanmangalam Reserve Forest is a protected forest located in the southern part of Chennai, about 24 km from the city centre. It is located at Medavakkam on Velachery High Road between Velachery and Tambaram. The reserve forest has an area of 320 hectares. However, the total area of the forest is 2,400 hectares.The forest is popular among bird watchers and is home to about 85 species of birds.
Ananthagiri Hills are located 10 km from Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, India. The hills are the main source of water for Osmansagar and Himayathsagar. It is considered as one of the dense forests in Telangana region. Ananthagiri has a famous temple located in this forested region, which is also the birthplace of Musi River. It is situated at about 80 km from Hyderabad City.
It has a wonderful 2 hour trek from the base of the hill. The trek to the top is relatively easy. There is no fixed path for the trek, you just need to walk. The best time to visit this place is in monsoon.
Karnala fort also knwon as Funnel Hill is in Raigad District about 10 km from Panvel city, 65km from Mumbai city, situated along the Mumbai-Goa highway. Currently, it is a protected place lying within the Karnala Bird Sanctuary & is one of the best specimens of the 13th-century constructions. The fort of Karnala is famous for its strange pinnacle and the bird sanctuary that is set up amidst the forest. It is a wonderful 2 hour trek from the base of the hill, routes that wind through the forest, crude track that encircles the sanctuary and lead to the trail up the mountain. Monsoon is the best time to visit this place.

Lohagad Fort is situated in the the beautiful Western Ghats at one of the most loved weekend destinations, Lonavala. Lohagad (Loha + gad) the name says it all. It's the iron fort and one of the strongest forts of Sahyadris. Lohagad is a very widespread fort. There are 4 doors to it from the nearby village -Lohgadwadi. i.e. ‘Ganesh Darwaja', ‘Narayan Darwaja', ‘Hanuman Darwaja’ and ‘Maha Darwaja. To the western side of the fort is Vinchu Kata and it gets it name because the area looks like scorpion’s sting. The fort has been declared as a protected monument by the government.
The Polo Forest area was a part of a vast territory and Vijaynagar was the capital 600 years back. The ancient city was a pilgrimage for the Jains and Shivadharmi people of the area. Polo forest is a beautiful forest area spread across 400 square km, located near Abhapur village in Vijay Nagar taluka of Gujarat. The jungle has 4 sculptured gates made of local sedimentary rocks in each direction. The forests are rich with many wild species like Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, Amphibians, Spiders, Plants etc. for example Leopards, Bears, Spiders, Pythons, are found in Polo forest. Polo forest holds more than 600 species plants which also includes many rare and endangered species. The area is declared as sanctuary and being maintained by the Dholwani range forest department.
Far from the humdrum existence and chaotic fast-paced life of Metropolis, Okhla Bird Sanctuary offers respite and provides solace to the residents of the capital city of Delhi along with those of Uttar Pradesh. Okhla Bird Sanctuary is a favourite among birdwatchers. This Sanctuary is situated right on the Yamuna river between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. A haven for water birds, the Sanctuary spreads over an area of four square km on the Yamuna. It is home to more than 320 bird species and beautiful plants. Silence and inquisitiveness work as an advantage for the curious birdwatcher. The sanctuary has received about 10,000 migratory birds so far, including 40 species of aquatic migratory birds and six species of terrestrial birds. There are also about 50 species of 1,000 resident birds at the sanctuary
Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary is popularly known as protected area repeated for its extensive variety of birds, butterflies, epiphytes, ferns and orchids. It is located very close to the metropolis Kolkata. This small sanctuary spread over 17 acres is a kin drive to the south of Kolkata. Its native name was 'Kayaler Bagan'. Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary is a protected area famed for its wide variety of birds, butterflies, epiphytes, ferns and orchids.

47 emplooyees had participated inspite of the heavy rains in Mumbai. It was a very amazing experience for each one to make it to the top of the fort. The trek started from the base village Malavli to the top of the one of the twin fort Visapur. The participants made it through the fort and were overjoyed.
A group of 40 employees travelled the hidden nature trail at the foothills of Karnala Bird Sanctuary. The beauty of this trail was that it is a tribal route and the group enjoyed the hospitality of tribal homestay on a machan and food served in traditional manner.
This was a mega event organised for KPMG as part of their Employee Volunteering Programme. A group of 78 volunteers of KPMG and 60 school students from Taloja.
Various nature restoration activities like de-weeding and and doing mulching around the plants, making 400 plant clipping of Wedelia a butterfly attracting plant and planting them in the trail pathway, carried out trail development activities, made bee and birds homes using recycled pet bottles and oil cans and got them installed on the trees made bug hotels with nature trail.
KPMG employees participated in the restoration works of Kharghar hills along with a nature trail. Post trail the participants were divided into two groups where they worked on the nature trail development by digging and lining of the stones and the other team worked on making the pond barrier
18 employees of Oracle volunteered in cleanup of the Badhkal Lake in Haryana. The programme started with a nature trail and learned about the lake, its fertility and the importance of plantation around the lake which further increases the biodiversity of the place.
It was a challenge to set up a butterfly garden at Govt. Urdu Primary School, Yelagundapalya, Bengaluru. But for the enthusiastic Head Master and the excellent team work of Magic Bus, the butterflies wouldn't have inaugurated the garden no sooner we watered the last plant. Most part of the school was under renovation. After a thorough planning, things started off with full steam. The young and old, cleaned up the litter, cleared the debris, dug up the soil loose and planted flowering shrubs and herbs.
