Grissel Lopes, second year master of science student from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai is helping us for content writing.
Her academic interests lie in public health and environmental sciences. She likes to travel and write during her free time.
For a project involving field research and publication, we are seeking applicants in entomology. The position holder will support Dr. Shubhalaxmi with her research, much of which focuses on moths. Field surveys for insects are part of the job, along with their documentation. The initial scope of the fieldwork will be Maharashtra alone.
Qualification required: M.Sc. (Entomology)
Age limit: Upto 25 years
Experience: 1 year in doing entomological works (including dissertation works). Freshers can apply.
Emoluments: Rs. 25000/- p.m. Local travel allowance and free accomodation for outstation candidates is provided.
Volunteers can help with developmental works such as the following:
1. Writing blogs/case study
2. Report writing
3. Conducting online surveys
4. Map making
5. Preparing posters and videos for social media marketing
Volunteers from local area can help us in our plantation works that are currently underway. They can help with the following tasks:
1. Tree tagging
4. Making tree guards
5. Plantation review
