We have provided consultancy in enhancing the existing butterfly garden inside the campus of Forganic Farm and Agrotourism in Sudhagad Taluka, Dist, Maharashtra . Along with the site visit we have given them a plan to enhance the biodiversity of butterflies on the site.
We have provided consultancy in developing butterfly gardens and habitats inside the college campus. After a survey and site visits, we gave a plan formulated to suit the needs of the campus land to the attract more butterflies.
In collaboration with Karnataka State Forest Department we have conducted several free walks in Thurahalli Forest Tree Park from October to Dec 2017. We also conducted a range of educational programmes such as workshops and walks at different green zones in Bengaluru.
In order to sensitize the residents of Palava City in Dombivali, Maharashtra, the Lodha Group invited us to conduct bi-montly nature walks. These walks are conducted on various seasonal themes. All interested members have been enrolled in the Green Club which has planned green activities for the residents of the Palava City.
In collaboration with United Way Mumbai, the iNaturewatch Foundation has launched an unique mangrove awareness programme- Shorekeepers of Mumbai. The programme includes talks and quiz based on mangroves. This is a FREE programme which is available for schools, colleges and community groups in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
Urban iNaturewatch was a citizen science initiative which was aimed to encourage urban citizens to appreciate and document their local biodiversity with the help of three mobile apps - iNaturewatch Birds, iButterflies and iTrees.In 2015, Urban iNaturewatch Challenge was launched for city schools of Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
