Celebrate International Day of Biological Diversity on 22 May with us
In collaboration with Karnataka State Forest Department we had conducted bimonthly free walks in Thurahalli Forest Tree Park since Oct- Dec 2017.
We conducting range of educational programmes such as workshops and walks to different green zones of Bangalore.
We participated in Kaikondrahalli Lake Festival on the eve of World Wetlands Day. We conducted a free lake safari for the participants of 'Kere Habba Lake Festival'.
In order to sensitize the residents of Palava City in Dombivali, Maharashtra, the Lodha Group invited us to conduct bi-montly nature walks. These walks are conducted on various seasonal themes. All interested members have been enrolled on the Green Club which envisages green activities conducted inside Palava City.
There are fewer wild settings along the creek side where they have built a River Garden Promenade. Another site which is unusual for nature trails is the Golf Course - Club G. Both these sites hold good bird diversity.
So far during our walks, we have encountered more than 25 bird species, 10 species of butterflies, 3 species of reptiles and 10 species of other insects.
