Projects >Caterpillar Watch

This is a citizen science programme by iNaturewatch Foundation which aims at document ting moth life histories. Monsoon is synonymous with caterpillars. This is an opportunity for everybody to share photographs of caterpillars from their locality. Here is what we want you to do:

1. When you see a caterpillar, take a close up full body picture both from sides and back.
2. Take picture of the plant on which you found it, take picture of one leafy branch rather just a single leaf.
3. Post your photos on our Moth Life histories page on Facebook with following details: Date, Location

You can feed your data in the caterpillar data sheet , doing so will be helpful in developing database on Indian moths life histories.
